The most exciting day of the year. Wesley and Deborah's wedding on February 22nd 2003. The reception Venue The George Hotel, Stamford. The happy couple were greeted with a champagne delivered by the master of ceremonies on a silver tray. Guests had gathered in a marquee on the lawn but were soon moved to the main dining room laid out for the wedding feast. The groom's father, Barrie (that's me) was invited to say grace before the meal started. The George is an old coaching inn on the route of the Great North Road. The oak paneled dining room added to the sense of occasion for Wesley and Deborah's eighty-odd guests. After the meal the speeches ...........
