G20Voice | White Band Action – I must have been asleep because I missed this G20 Voice stuff until it was over. All the same it's led me to this loose coalition of blogs which have become important voices in this period of transition in both financial systems and international media outlets. Especially as these publications had full access to the G20 press events standing alongside the big players with access to the 20 heads of state who are G20.

Missing chef refused taxi money – The mystery of the disappearance of Claudia Lawrence as she walked to work in York. She's not been seen or heard for a week now – someone knows where she is.
Gospels returning on temporary basis (From The Northern Echo) – I think there would be something special about seeing the Lindisfarne Gospels at Durham Cathedral or even better – at the ruins of the Priory on Lindisfarne. I'd certainly make the trip.

Atheists call for 'debaptism' – If baptism is an historical event initiated by well intentioned parents then I fail to see how it can be removed. The words may be erased but the event is history. Trying to ignore significant events in our lives – and the choices of our parents are significant – is possibly more damaging that letting them exist on record – even if later choices leave those things behind.
